What is Open-Source Software in Machine Learning

As the name implies, open-source software (OSS) is computer software that is released under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the right to study, modify, distribute, and use the source code and software as they choose. Collaboration is often a key component for the development of open-source software, and therefore the number of potential contributions is limitless.
